Marble Falls
The City of Marble Falls is located in Burnet County approximately 48 miles NW of Austin, 86 miles N of San Antonio, 208 miles NW of Houston and 217 miles SW of Dallas. It has a small-town feeling yet many amenities make it a convenient place to live. Lake Marble Falls is the gateway to Marble Falls and is the home each year to the LakeFest Drag Races in August each year. The area is known for its many fairs and festivals including Main Street Market Days when vendors, restaurants, and craftspeople ply their wares along Historic Main Street.

A new hospital is in development near the intersection of Highways 281 and 71 on the south side of Marble Falls. It is part of the Llano Hospital system and will be administered by Scott & White. A clinic is the first facility to be built and should be complete by 2012. Additional medical buildings are expected to follow.

The City of Marble Falls has passed an initiative for housing incentive program designed to spur new residential construction. Under the incentive, all permit and tap fees collected by the Development Services Department for the remainder of 2014. Build Marble Falls is a consortium of the Hill Country Builders Association, the City of Marble Falls, local real estate agents, local banks and local suppliers. There has never been a better time to build a home in Marble Falls.
